Full Fathom Five Sea Glass Emporium & Local Arts is a funky roadside shop in the funky neck of the North Shore. Located in Kahuku as you make your way northeast towards the famous outdoor food court, this boutique shop houses the island’s largest collection of authentic sea glass jewelry and assorted crafts. By “authentic”, we mean that the colorful frosted blues and greens that adorn the ornate wares within have been plucked from the sands that are found just a short distance away. Kahauku’s position on the Pacific is prime to receive all sorts of goodies that the ocean has carried for many nautical miles. That’s why in addition to sea glass, Full Fathom Five also sells driftwood sculptures, old Japanese fishing floats, and sea-encrusted items that have gone overboard decades ago. They also sell paintings, photography, and other assorted crafts from local artisans. Put this place on your list of pit stops to make when doing the circle-island drive.
