There isn’t a lot in the way of places to shop when it comes to the North Shore. Of course, that’s part of why people come to the “country”. But when you get the hankering to leave Turtle Bay or your North Shore vacation rental and shop then Haleiwa Store Lots is where you want to go. It’s an updated yet historic-feeling place to shop, pickup essentials, eat, and kill a few hours until the traffic back east on Kamehameha winds down with the Hawaiian sun. There are about a couple dozen shops comprising Haleiwa Store Lots, but the following are the highlights:
Popular Shops & Galleries at Haleiwa Store Lots
- Clark Little Gallery
- Polu Gallery
- T&C Surf
- Malibu Shirts (the Haleiwa sibling to Waikiki’s Malibu Shirts)
- Mahina (beach town chic for women)
- Kahala Sportswear (aloha-shirts, etc.)
Popular Food & Drink at Haleiwa Store Lots
- Teddy’s Bigger Burgers (with a tiki bar inside)
- Island Vintage Coffee (the Haleiwa sibling to Waikiki’s IVC)
- Matsumoto Shave Ice (although Aoki’s across the street is MUCH better)
- Uncle Bo’s
Note: The 7 AM to 8 PM hours apply to the district, but not the individual shops. For details about hours for our recommended stores (Polu Gallery, etc.) please visit the main shopping section for Oahu.
