Kahuku Beach and Kahuku Golf Course Beach (the same thing, really) is a wonderful stretch of isolated white sand that despite notoriety never gets crowded. Visitors are turned off by the fact that the beach is hidden from view from Kamehameha Highway and further barricaded by a local’s only golf course. The “No Trespassing – Government Property” signs on the periphery are also a deterrent. But don’t worry, you won’t get shot. However, you may get knocked upside the noggin by a golf ball if you’re not careful when crossing the green. Aside from that, a short hike, and less than ideal parking, an idyllic setting awaits. In addition to uncrowded powdery sand and warm cyan water, the beach gets decorated with driftwood, fishing floats, and other things that beachcombers dream of. Follow the photographic directions below to discover one of the best hidden shorelines on Oahu.
