The Sunrise Shack at Sunset Beach

Best place to get superfood bowls and bullet coffee on the North Shore

The Sunrise Shack North Shore Oahu

Located down the road from world famous Sunset Beach in Pupukea, The Sunrise Shack is owned and operated by a group of local surfers (Koa Rothman and the Smith Bros) who know what it takes to maintain energy levels to combat the North Shore’s tumultuous waves. This ain’t Starbucks, so don’t expect uber-sweet lattes and the like as this shack sticks to its guns when it comes to pouring Bullet coffee and delivering locally sourced goodies. They serve up papaya bowl, acai bowls, and more, while selling everything from Laird Hamilton’s non-dairy creamer to t-shirts, all from their ridiculously charming little shack on Kamehameha Highway.

Can’t make it all the way up to the original location at Sunset Beach? The Sunrise Shack now has a location at Shark’s Cove and on the south shore at the Outrigger Waikiki.
