The Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel has a great energy about it. The experience begins from the moment you step into the open-air lobby on the ground floor where you find a wall adorned with surfboards spelling the property’s name. But up the escalator is where the magic happens. There you will find a large open pool area, and most importantly Tiki’s Grill & Bar – the best tiki-themed eatery and watering hole in Waikiki Beach. Tiki’s, complete with their live music and impeccable view of the ocean, provides both the soundtrack and scenery for the ultimate Waikiki vacation. The bar is also one of the best places on the island to get an exclusive tiki mug to take back home with you. The hotel itself is great, with a solid combo of ocean-front and pool-view rooms, along with some budget friendly “city view” options for those who prefer to spend less time in their suite and more time exploring the island. In fact, Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel is the best “something for everyone” hotel on the Kalakaua Avenue strip.
