Barefoot Beach Cafe is located at Queen’s Beach in Waikiki. It’s found off of the path that passes between Kapiolani Park and the ocean. It’s a perfect place to sightsee while eating, and if you can get a table there is nary a better spot to watch the South Shore sunset. It’s a walk-up and order cafe, so you don’t have to worry about reservations. That said, for a “fast food” beach concession it does offer a restaurant experience, complete with live music around dinnertime. The menu consists of breakfast (Eggs Benedict, etc.), lunch, and dinner, with nearly all plates designed with casual island flare. The cafe also serves smoothies, shave ice, Dole Whip, and other Hawaiian delectables. Come for the vibe, stay for the food, and hang a little longer for the view.
