12-hour slow-roasted Kalua pork is the foundation of the menu for this quaint breakfast and lunch spot at the North Shore Marketplace in Haliewa. Best known for their Breakfast Bomber’s, first-timers must try the CHUNS which features their famed Kalua pork, with some added bacon for good measure. Kono’s also has a heavy hitting menu of sandwiches, wraps, plates, bowls, and positively ono milkshakes, such as their Pineapple Vanilla and Coconut Cream Pie (yes, it’s a shake).
