The youthful SurfJack hotel is a relatively new and VERY welcome addition to the boutique hotel scene in Waikiki. It’s located a little further from the main beach than you may expect from a surf-branded accommodation, but the extra 10-minute walk is a small price to pay for the other conveniences and amenities that guests get to enjoy. The is a great on-site cafe, and a communal hangout area near the pool that is peppered with vintage surf memorabilia. The hotel also boasts an on-site eatery – Mahina & Sun’s – which has become a popular hangout spot for apres-surf sessions and general mingling. There is even a Banks Journal shop on the property which features modern island attire, accessories, art, and more.
