Skull & Crown Trading Co. is part tiki bar and part nautical bar, with a bold dash of cool. Conceptually this place could have been kitsch but instead it’s downright avant-garde. Located in Honolulu’s ever-burgeoning Chinatown, Skull & Crown stands out from the hipster lounges, tasting rooms, taverns, and noodle houses to deliver something truly innovative. The bartenders here do some incredible things with premium rum, namely Kuleana Rum Works, tapping into locally sourced ingredients (i.e. Hawaiian sugarcane juice) to create an exceptional cocktail menu. Leave Waikiki and hop an Uber over to N Hotel Street in Honolulu’s Chinatown for an experience that no other night spot on Oahu can deliver.
