There are many notable Hawaiian-style breakfast, brunch, and lunch spots on Oahu, from Eggs n’ Things and Kono’s (North Shore) to Waikiki’s severely underrated hidden gem Goofy Cafe & Dine. However, when it comes to one big breakfast staple on the island and mainland alike you’ll want to go to the ohana-owned Boots & Kimo’s Homestyle Kitchen. Their pancakes are the best on Oahu. That said, we can admit that some may refute that statement as pancake tastes are certainly subjective based upon one’s preference for texture, size, flavor, and toppings. Where there is no room for argument however, is over the title as best macadamia nut pancakes on Oahu. On this we cannot concede, thanks to the gigantic dollop of macadamia cream that crowns (and spills over) the delectable stack. We’ll just let the photos do the talking.
